Aspire Senior Living Platte City

My brother-in-law was there for 2 years. He received excellent care. One thing I noticed compared to others - it didn't smell. That shows to me how clean the patients and surroundings were. My brother-in-law recently died there. He was treated with the utmost respect as he transitioned. When we would call to check on him, we always received factual information about his condition. Both of my parents were in nursing homes and they were awful so I know how they can be. Aspire has caring staff from the top -- down.

-500 stars if I could! Absolutely horrific, we moved my grandmother after less than 6 months! Most of her belongings were lost or stolen, she has such a severe UTI that she was having strike symptoms. Not to mention once we got her to a hospital after they refused to send her l, she had bruises everywhere (including inner thighs somehow) and such trama when they tried to get her urine at the hospital. She was hospitalized for 2 weeks due to her condition.

Placed my mom here one year ago. Was first patient in newly renovated Rehab unit. Awesome care. Family atmosphere. Was at another facility after leaving hospital which only cared about what you could pay. She is still at Aspire and doing great. Every place has ups and downs but from the administration all the way down every patient is treated with respect. Every employee knows the patients name and takes care of their needs. There has been changes in administrators and she is awesome. Truly a place I would recommend highly. I don't have to worry about my mom's care which is a great relief. I am definitely kept informed.

Please find an alternate solution for you loved ones. Nothing they can do to this facility will fix the poor care we experienced with our grandpa after only 1 month. They used covid as an excuse for not allowing anyone to see him, and when family was finally able to see him, he had bruises and bed sores. At one point he had to be taken to the hospital due to injury (cause TBD) and they took him in his underwear with no shoes. Needles to say the family had him moved to better care. (This occurred in January/February 2022. A self imposed 5-star rating doesn't mean much)

Very clean place. Amazing with my grandmothers care. Would recommend!!
