Aspen Dental - Gastonia, NC

This was my first visit. My teeth are in extremely bad condition. The office staff were very, very nice and helpful. Keela, my xray hygienist was so sweet and friendly and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Murphy was so thorough and helped me understand what he could do to help me. Cassie, the office assistant, helped me understand all my options and worked with my situation. Pretty soon, I will have a beautiful smile. The smile I have always wanted.

This was by far the best dental experience that I've had in years. My Dental Assistant Emma was very kind and welcoming, "she took the nervous edge away from the very start". Then the Dental Hygentist Heather was very polite, patient, and thorough with the next steps in my care plan. The doctor himself was so kind, patient, and informative. He actually took the time to explain and answer any and all questions age concerns that I had. Thank you to every Aspen Dental Staff that played a role in my visit today!! Yall are the real MVP's!! I have definitely found a new dental home!!

The clinical experience I had at Aspen Dental in Gastonia was very good. Everyone I came in contact with from the Imaging technician to the hygienist were all professional and very thorough. In particular I want to give a particular acknowledgment to Heather, the hygienist. She did a fantastic job caring for my teeth and gave me a great education on how to prevent further issues with periodontal disease. As I said, clinically it was a fine experience. My only issue with them at this point is that they currently owe me $5,000 which has yet to be refunded to my account. Hence the rating that I've given. I'll update it once my money is returned.

This is a complaint about the company as a whole and not this location. The people at this location are very nice and friendly. Five stars for them. On the other hand, I have a pending claim for ~$1000 that cannot be closed because someone at Aspen Dental's Insurance Department will not get in contact with my Dental Insurance. I have been calling the office and their Patient Advocate Team since November, and this issue still has not been resolved. They have given me multiple timeframes in which this will get resolved, and they have all passed. In other words, I now have to pay off ~$1000 worth of debt, plus potential interest, because Aspen Dental (the company, not this office) cannot contact my insurance provider in a timely manner and probably never will, even though I have called them

Heather is an amazing hygienist. She's very informative and delivers excellent patient care. To add to the comments Dr Murphy and Dr S did an amazing job on my extractions. Wisdom teeth can be extremely problematic and I was never advised to get mine out. I'm so happy that I was able to go through this experience with Aspen Dental. Nothing less than 5 Stars in my book.
