Aspen Dental - Ankeny, IA

No one likes the dentist. Dr Steven has been great so far. Im sitting here waiting for my teeth to be removed and he has been both compassionate to my plight and light on my wallet. I had previously gone to summer.... in ames. They charged me 300 for a xray my ins should have paid. Here I got the same xray plus full mouth and consult and treatment plan and 3 teeth out for about 30 bucks more. Ames left me hurting and had no compassion. I can pay it is what it is but come on they took xrays said looks too complicated and kicked me out full price. Aspen has been great they make their prosthesis in house its just a awesome place. They also work comphensivly with pt for tmd if thats a issue for you. Just great care from knowledgeable staff with the compassion such anxiety heavy places require.

I was hoping for a better experience at the Ankeny office but nope same problems. As the merlhay location.They assure you things they can't deliver. The worst pain I've ever felt in my life all because. They care about getting people in and out fast to get the money. More then they care about making sure the patient is treated rite and leaves in good health and standings.The whole reason I was there was because the dentist at the merlhay Aspen messed my tooth up so bad it had to be extracted. Ankeny promised a quick clean extraction said the guy was the best after I warned them I have long roots and probably should be done a different way. Of course they didn't listen and he struggled bad with extraction ripped the inside of my jaw literally had to hammered the tooth out smashed one side o

I was so pleasantly impressed from initial contact to the end of my appointment! I was greeted promptly and more importantly with kindness. It only got better. My tech Mabel , listened to all my concerns, stepped in and handled the problems, along with the front office. Shout out to them!! My dentist was professional, really studied my situation to make a knowledgeable game plan. That I understand. I wasn't coerced, pushed, or belittled. This was a world's apart from a previous experience at a different clinic. I whole heartedly recommend Aspen dental of Ankeny!!

Deepa is truly amazing. She is kind and makes sure you are comfortable and not in any pain. I would not go anywhere else or want anyone else. Ask for her as your hygienist. Truly 10 stars!!!!

A couple years ago I had a to do a crown for a broken tooth. When I came in for the final fitting, I sat in the room for over an hour and a half. I was finally attended to after raising concerns. I only returned for reg cleanings due to convenience of not finding a new place...however, they have now started rescheduling my cleanings every time, and finally left after a reschedule (over a month later) was asked to be rescheduled again (additional 2 months).
