The facility has a problem with staffing.The nurse have attitude and don't know the policy and rules of the facility ,because there from agencies and don't care.There here just getting hours to make a pay check.when a patienthit the call button.The nurses don't respond to the button.People if you become nurse you need to care for people or find you another profession.it's sad that patient has to suffer due non caring nurses. The one my mom has her day nurse is terrible,We just hit the call button and she hasn't responded in 15 minutes,look outside she sitting at the desk.The Director of this facility has been aware of the bad nurses behavior.They also don't wear badges,so you don't know whose the nurse from CNA.Thats the advantage the nurse from agencies have,because if they don't

Ashley River Tower has been an incredible blessing to our family. From the moment we arrived, the staff showed extraordinary kindness, compassion, and patience. Every nurse, aide, and team member we met went above and beyond to make sure my mother was comfortable and cared for. When hospice was called in, they worked quickly and thoughtfully to find her a space upstairs, and we will forever be grateful for the dignity and comfort they provided during such a difficult time. My friends sister was admitted to Ashley River in early October. We had desperately hoped that Ashley River was going to be a great place as we live in West Ashley, They did not do the physical therapy like they were supposed to. The food was horrible, They did not help her change her soiled clothing, which in turn caused her to get a urinary tract infection which then turned septic. They started charging money for her to stay out of pocket and her insurance had already paid. Her blood pressure dropped very low and she had to be rushed to the hospital where they found the sepsis. He had been telling them that something was not right but it was not taken seriously. The only problem that I had was parking. The parking lot was pretty full. Other than that, the facility was clean, the staff was helpful. The visitors were polite, and everything went well.

From our initial encounter with personnel we noticed that they are friendly and prompt to help us orient to the facility. The areas we saw were clean and pleasantly furnished. The nursing staff is professional and quickly responsive to our requests.
