Ashe Memorial Hospital Rehabilitation Services

I recently had a stroke in Oct 2025. I returned from hickory's inpatient rehab to outpatient rehab at Ashe memorial. I couldn't ask for more appropriate and better care that I received through their rehabilitation program. The the rehabilitation team of Daniel and Eric and the occupational therapist, and speech therapist were excellent in their treatment of me. I couldn't have asked for better team than I had through Ashe memorial. They were all very knowledgeable and excellent in their care. The scheduling of my visits were coordinated well with my care. They were all excellent in providing a professional and very caring approach.

I am so thankful for the Speech Language Therapy services my son received at Ashe Memorial Hospital Rehabilitation Services. He began therapy while in daycare, and that early intervention helped build a strong foundation for his speech prior to entering pre-K. As he transitioned into school, the team worked closely with his school speech pathologist, comparing notes and collaborating to ensure his speech plan was truly tailored to his individual needs. That level of communication made his transition seamless and gave me confidence as a parent that my son was set up for success. Had shoulder surgery in June of 25, Dustin, Bill, Eric and the entire staff are super nice and perform there duties extremely well, knowledgeable and up to date with all the ways to help get you where you need to be. They are so good at their jobs, that after knee replacement surgery the week before Christmas , I went back for therapy and have not been let down one bit, one of the best teams I have ever been around. Highly recommend to all, you will not be disappointed, thanks to all.

The physical therapy I received was amazingly helpful with pain leaving after my first session. The exercises have been helpful to regain strength. The front desk staff and the therapist are very professional and I don't have to wait for services. I highly recommend Ashe Memorial Rehab services.

from the time you walk in the door and see Abbi and Devon you feel right at home. Each therapist has a unique way of helping you. they work as a team. whoever works with you,expect 200 percent. Seth,Eric, Daniel,,Bill, Judy, and the rest of the crew are wonderful. you can’t go wrong with any of these amazing people.
