Ashe Memorial Hospital

I have been going to Ashe Memorial Hospital therapy department for several weeks now due to knee replacement. I highly recommend them as I have been extremely satisfied! I see Eric and I have to say, we always have a good time while doing therapy! It’s nice to be able to laugh and joke around while doing exercises that may not always be pleasant. Eric has always been wonderful to answer any questions and addresses any issues I have as well as letting me know what I need to work on at home. The staff that I have dealt with while checking in and scheduling future appointments have all been extremely courteous and kind. I have a little ways to go before my therapy is complete, but I will be back after my next surgery!!

My son got a viral stomach bug earlier this year, he couldn't keep even water down. He was very sick. I took him to Ashe Memorial and he was in kidney failure. I had been out of town and had no idea how sick he was. He was on Medicaid at the time and they treated him like a king. I was truly amazed at the care he received. You would have thought he was a millionaire. They got his kidneys working again and got him well. He would have died without them. They also treated me wonderfully, They didn't leave the room without asking if we needed anything. (Even the cleaning staff) They were amazing. Thank you Ashe memorial staff! As a former medical professional and patient at the Ashe Memorial Hospital system, including medical office at Mt Jefferson family medicine, I just want to share a healthcare visit with Gastroenterologists in Winston Salem yesterday. This note I could be proud and not wait to send to their system. "The office staff was filled with smiles, pleasantries, and people offering to help and answer any of my questions. This was absolutely to the most beneficial pleasant healthcare visit I have experienced in many many years. It was a wonderful productive visit and I will tell others about that visit.". I can't say that my experience for several years at the Ashe system of drive thru, cookbook style, robotic, healthcare management has been even a close resemblance. GAP office staff, medical staff,

I had a great experience here with gallbaldder removal surgery. Everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive, from the nursing staff to the surgeon, Dr. Jones. The anesthesiologist even let me have my choice of music while waiting for everything to get started in the OR. I have no complaints for this small, caring hospital.

2/8/24……car accident (passed out while driving due to altitude change) myself and 3 others in the vehicle were transported to this hospital. The outstanding treatment I received can’t go unnoticed. Every single person was so gentle, understanding, polite, professional, and just comforting. We were on a girls trip over 4 hours away from home, and scared of how we would get back to where we were staying. (my car was totaled). They kept me calm, and told me everything would be ok. My boyfriend and my friends husband got there to get us all back to our place and home safely the next day. Superb treatment at this hospital
