Ascension St. Vincent's Lung Institute - Southside

My husband is in a wheelchair. We were concerned that waiting time will take hours. However, we were seen right away, even before our appointed time. The staff were efficient and very helpful. The doctor's explanation of my husband's condition was direct and understandable. No confusing medical jargon. It was a good experience.

I brought my older brother to see his pulmonologist but he needed a wheelchair because he has trouble breathing and walking is a challenge for him. So I went into the office on the ground floor to see about getting one. I was ignored for a minute while the staff spoke in Spanish and laughed among themselves. So I ask them to speak English 4 times before they actually responded to me. No wheelchair is available.they asked me where I was taking him and I said the second floor to see his pulmonologist. What is a pulmonologist she asked. Are you serious? Who is hiring these people? Do I seriously need to know Spanish before they acknowledge me or my brother here. This place is seriously messed up.

My two recent appointments went smoothly and I appreciated the advice and support that I received. One does not have to sit around very long in the waiting room before being seen by the support staff and doctors.

Good attitude, prompt, interested in me. I see Tiffany , the Lady with personality. I’m happy.

Staff are all so pleasant and hpful. Tiffany is such an amazing Provider. She is so very easy to work with and actually listens to me. She is so very helpful with my respiratory issues.
