Ascension St. Vincent's Health Center - Westside

Ascension scheduled me and my son's new patient appointment for 2 months out. We just moved to the Jacksonville and need a doctor. The doctors office called 1 1/2 months later and 10 days before my appointment to cancel. Now I have to reschedule for another 2 months out. I would recommend you find a real service that can do what they say and find you an accountable doctor. These people are worthless appointment centers, that have no control and don't care about your health, but just their schedule book.

My brother is a Veteran and was suffering from a severe gout attack. Unfortunately the VA is horrible at giving timely health care appointments to their Veterans. Thankfully my brother was able get treated at St. Vincent urgent care. James Walker, APRN, provided my brother outstanding care during his visit! He actively listened to my brother's concerns, answered every question, and assisted us in getting follow up care too! Thank you James for turning my brother's frown upside down!

The doctors in this practice are awesome. Some of the staff Will ( office manager) very rude and condescending. I called in with a concern in reference the tone and questions of the staff. I was basically told he understood her questioning. I told him I did not. But after speaking with him on several occasions I can definitely understand why those under his leadership are rude and unprofessional.

The absolute worst place in Jacksonville to get care. First of all it takes you an hour to get through to somebody and when you do they talk in circles. I thought I'd seen some worse doctors before but I think I got the one that was last in her class and then she was graded on a curve. I never have like Saint Vincent's and I'll be sure to make changes the next Open season.

It take too long to get referrals I basically have to call the doctor to make my own diagnosis and then I get a referral it seem like the doctor or the secretary they don't keep up with the clients the patients per se.
