I went to the ER around midnight with severe flu-like symptoms and was extremely disappointed with the level of care I received. From the start, the front desk staff was short, dismissive, and rude, which set the tone for the entire visit. The doctor refused to test me for Flu or COVID, stating that it “wouldn’t change treatment,” and instead insisted I had Flu-A simply because it was “going around.” No testing, no confirmation, just an assumption. When I asked how it would be treated, I was told to take ibuprofen and Tylenol — the exact reason I was in the ER in the first place, as those were not working. When I asked about Tamiflu, both the doctor and nurse became passively aggressive and actively discouraged me from taking it, going as far as bringing up suicide risks in a way that fe

Had a neck injury latish at night, tried to sleep it off/ tough it out but it wouldn't go away, after a few hours I managed to fall asleep but any movement shot immense pain thru my neck. When I woke up and it was worse than ever my lady forced me into the suv and off to the nearest hospital. Originally I'm used to having to deal with IU so I'm not too keen on hospitals nor did I have any high hopes. But the man at the front desk was very chill and patient with me ( I was crooked and looked stupid) They had me in a room in about 5minutes, the nurse was VERY sweet and had a very comforting charm to her. She chit chatted and made me feel valid for coming. The doctor responded quickly and checked my condition (Had to twist my neck) confirmed and provided relief thru some hefty painkiller shot

As someone who has had many poor experiences in an ER, I have to say everyone who assisted me this morning—amidst the storm— was super kind and more attentive than I am used to. I actually felt very comfortable there and left no complaints.

They were quick to get me in, the staff were polite. I was disappointed because after 9 sticks they barely got enough blood for a cbc. I have a history of blood clots and that was not checked because of them being unable to draw the rest of the labs. I still don’t feel well.

I see why western medicine is at the bottom of the list. The nurse was very condescending and passive aggressive and the doctor did not want to do his job . He didn’t want to take any labs & stated they don’t offer cat scans but the website says that this facility does. I had to talk him down to take blood work & he didn’t want to take a urine sample. These nurses & doctors don’t want to do their job . Unless you’re shot or severally injured externally they don’t care to do put their school work to use. Also I told him I felt spasms in my brain, stiffness in my neck & it assumed it was a migraine. I told him I don’t take pain meds he insisted on offering me a shot of ibphrofen.
