Ascension Seton Emergency Center - Leander

This is generally a good er but today a doctor (DR. Harding) was very inappropriate with advising what he would do to my wife to further determine what is going on with her. He held out two fingers with a smell on his face and said he would feel for any tenderness in any tenderness in my wife’s vagina. This was inappropriate and not well thought out. Not to mention, he didn’t offer for a nurse to do it. Someone needs to teach this young doctor some manners.

I've posted about this facility before, and had good experiences. I went to the ER this week delirious and dehydrated, and the ER doc on hand that morning just kept asking "what I wanted" for the pain. It was not helpful and I hope they do more testing and diagnostic runs in the future...I left still in pain, still sick, and it was 8 hours before I finally went to an urgent care where they helped.

I have made several visits to this facility because it is close to my home. This visit was up to a fall and shoulder pain worse after 3 days also felt like needed to be checked to rule out fracture. I am a retired RN after 45 yrs. Every one is awesome. So glad to have this place close to me. I only have a comment about xray person,took too long and not friendly. I felt like I was a bother for her, but maybe she was having a bad day. Otherwise everything was great. Thank you.

My husband got confused with urgent care and took my daughter to this facility for a sore throat. They made both of them wait for 2 hours to make a checkup and finally they said she is positive for Flu. I was sent a bill of $1300. Just a money minting facility setup for taking advantage of anyone that shows up. For a non-serious condition and non-emergency condition they purposefully admit patients. I felt this is exploitation.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Cedar Park Regional Emergency Center. From the moment I arrived, the nurse was rude and dismissive, acting as if I was inconveniencing her by simply being there. She barely made eye contact, spoke in a condescending tone, and seemed completely uninterested in answering my questions or addressing my concerns. Unfortunately, the doctor was no better. He rushed through the appointment, barely listening to what I had to say. Instead of showing any compassion or concern for my condition, he seemed eager to move on to the next patient. I left feeling unheard, uncared for, and frustrated. Healthcare professionals should be compassionate and attentive, but that was far from my experience here. I would not recommend this place to anyone look
