Bright SpOT Pediatric Therapy

We were referred to Bright SpOT by our pediatrician office for my 2 year old daughter's speech delay. We have been working with Ms. Kadie for the last few months and it's been going great. Not only does Kadie provide good information and tools to us as parents, but she is also SO great with our daughter. They have a great selection of toys and things for our daughter to do during her appointments and my daughter loves going. The hardest part is getting my toddler to leave! In addition, when I had questions about what their cleaning procedures looked like a while back, the owner, Caitlin, was so kind in reassuring me of my concerns and also providing details on all of their cleaning procedures which I really appreciated. Highly recommend Bright SpOT!

BrightSPOT OT has been such a great experience for our family. The therapists really took the time to get to know my both my kids — what they like, what motivates them — and worked those interests into their sessions in such a thoughtful way. It’s been especially helpful with the fine motor and handwriting work they’re doing because the therapists find ways to make it feel fun (even when it’s hard!). For example, my daughter is working on bilateral coordination and shoe tying but loves dolls. They worked on braiding the dolls hair as a starter to introduce the task and engage her. As a parent with a background in special education, I've felt other places we've gone failed to listen to my concerns. However, that wasn't the case here. Our therapists did a great job of truly understanding

We love Bright SpOT! Ms. Kennedy is amazing with my daughter — she is patient, kind, and always has a variety of new games, crafts, sensory toys, etc. that she uses to help with learning various skills. My kiddo looks forward to her OT session every week.

I can’t thank Claudia and The BrightSpOt team enough! My 21month old has been Claudia’s OT/Speech/Feeding patient for 9 months now. My son is globally/developmentally delayed by 6-9 months and extremely sensory sensitive. He has gone from eating Zero solids 9 months ago to now a variety of items. As I’m writing this it’s puts into perspective how far we’ve come. She has been so patient, keen, and intuitive with his cues, and knows exactly how to coach me through what I can do at home. Others have also accommodated us in their schedule when Claudia is unavailable, such as Becca and Kennedy, and they are just as awesome. The entire team makes you feel like family. With all the many resources we utilize for my son’s needs I truly do not believe we would have advanced this far without Claudia
