I was surprised to visit a cardiologist and neither he nor his nurse ever listened to my heart. The nurse was very nice and laughed that she didn't have her stethoscope. She was able to take my blood pressure without it by feeling my pulse. The doctor did have one but did not use it. He decided I should have a stress test. He explained the last one I had 8 years ago showed blockage. I was surprised. I was somewhat upset that I had never been told that I had any blockages. He changed it to some plague build up. That I understood but still no one had said it was so much to be a problem. I was given an appointment time for the stress test and told someone would call to preregister. My dad & I LOVE Dr. Cabell & his staff! His bedside manner & caring attitude are what keep us coming back to him!! He has been a game changer, my dad’s previous Cardiologist was a jerk! He was always trying to push vaccines on us and we had enough so that’s when we found Dr. Cabell. He & his staff listen & they truly care! Thank you Dr. Cabell for your outstanding care!

The Nurses and staff were wonderful...the surgeon, Dr Azoz was amazing. His bad side manner was top notch. He took time to talk to us and explain what the plan was. They were consistent in pulling blood, testing and watching his numbers. In that respect, I can't thank them enough. However, my husband was miserable laying in that bed. I know you need beds and furnitures to last, but having your patient comfortable should be one of the priorities. Not sure about the hospitalist we had. Care for my husband was wonderful. If I was writing just on that it would be five stars.

I have had nothing but good experiences at St Thomas Heart Rutherford. Dr. Cherry is very thorough and listens to my concerns and responds with a caring attitude. I highly recommend him as a cardiologist!

Dr. Chhetry’s office: Nurse is efficient, friendly, professional. Relates well to patient. Dr. Chhetry is the best! Knowledgeable. Attentive to issues and competent, kind, professional. He gets 5 gold stars from me.
