Sacred Heart in Destin is the very best hospital. Doctors and staff are very caring and helpful. They take time to explain everything. Healthcare there is the best. Equally important, there is real leadership going on from the top down among the support staff—those who make the hospital work day-to-day. Everyone working there is genuinely interested in helping. The hospital is immaculately clean. Someone takes time to make sure the little details in cleanliness of the facility and equipment are done perfectly. That can only happen when there are leaders at the top who set high standards, then empower those below to meet them, and follow up every day to ensure goals are met. So many thanks to the doctors and nurses for healthcare second-to-none and a huge thank you to the hospital leaders

I’m giving this review 5 stars for reasons I’ll explain below — however, if it weren’t for my overall great experience, this would have been a 4-star review due to the customer service phone line. I recently returned a call after missing several calls over the past few weeks because of my work schedule and not being able to answer during the day. When I finally called back, I explained my situation and mentioned my doctor. The woman who answered quickly responded that the office was closed and that I would need to call back tomorrow. I clarified that the reason I was calling after hours was to leave a message letting them know I’m unavailable during the day and to provide my husband’s contact information if they needed to reach someone. She then asked for my name, date of birth, and doct

From the moment I walked in through the follow up call the day after surgery, the entire experience was outstanding. Check in was smooth and efficient, and the front desk team was welcoming and professional. Pre op and post op were both handled in a way that felt organized, calm, and reassuring. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. It made what could have been a stressful day feel much easier. I’m grateful for the level of professionalism and compassion shown throughout the process. Highly recommend.

My nurses made it a better day. Lisa in pre admissions and Jackie in recovery were both top notch. Both were excellent at their responsibilities. My daughter in law, a nurse and semi retired teacher, who was my driver, gives them the same 5 star rating as I did. The hole process was fine from the time I came in the front door till the time I walked out of them. Thank you

Thank you so much to all of the staff of Sacred Heart Hospital Emerald Coast. I went to the ER on Thursday, January 29 and stayed over night to do an Echocardiogram the next day. Everyone was so nice and helpful, from the check-in clerk to the Emergency Room Doctor. My overnight Nurse was Miquela; she was so kind and helpful. My daytime Nurse was Kathy; she was outstanding (explained every medicine I was taking and why). The overnight Doctor was great, can’t remember her name. Dr. Ferry was fabulous; he was very patient and explained in detail everything that was going on with my heart. The PCTs Derek and Leela were fantastic; they visited me frequently and were always happy to help. Even the transportation employee (pushed me in a wheelchair to the exit when I was released to go home) was
