I should have written all this when it happened but there was too much going on. A little over a year ago, my mom was transferred here for a short term stay. Upon arrival, no one knew anything about it or what was going on, so we waited. Eventually, we got my mom set up. I left to get some clothes for her. I received a call from the nurse on duty, she informed me that my mom didn't want to be there. I said that's how she reacts to every place. I came back to drop off some clothes. When I was leaving, the same nurse informed me once again, that my mom didn't want to be there. Unprofessional. Early the next morning, I received a call from them. My mom had gotten up during the night to go to the bathroom and she had a fall. Most likely, she tried to call out for help to use the bathroom, but

My 65‑year‑old mother suffered a displaced femoral fracture and needed post‑acute rehab. She is kind, resilient, and despite severe pain, kept saying “God will get us through this.” After researching facilities, I was relieved when this hospital accepted her. I arrived early, was given Room 317 by the front desk, and fully prepared it—cleaned, sanitized, unpacked her belongings, set up bedding from home, even fixed the clock so she’d feel oriented and safe. When her ambulance arrived, a staff member named Johnathan pulled me into his office and said the hospital hadn’t sent paperwork. He then suggested my mother showed “drug‑seeking behavior” and that they were “not equipped to manage it.” This was medically inaccurate and inappropriate—femur fractures are among the most painful injuries,

Visitor of Asbury Rehabilitation. We chose this place for my dad. Great experience for my dad back in 2019 for an extended rehab. He had excellent care, support throughout his stay. Assistance planning for his discharge to home. So far, for this stay, we have been pleased and dad’s care has been exceptional. Food is good, rooms and social space is clean and tidy, options available and service is above and beyond. Grateful for the available bed. ❤️

My brother n law was treated very well during his rehab stay here. It is a lovely and clean facility. Our only complaint is that we were misinformed about the length of stay and were shocked at a decision from the insurance he was being discharged with only a half day notice to vacate. There were no transition instructions from any of the therapists. Could not have a final barium swallow test. This experience left us highly unprepared to handle his home coming. Make sure you do your own investigation on how many days your loved one is granted.
