Armory Dog & Cat Hospital

I typically don’t write reviews, but the recent death of my beloved dog, Blossom, compels me to share my experience with this hospital. On October 17, 2024, at approximately 12:25 PM, I rushed in, distraught and pleading for help after Blossom ingested rat poison. Instead of receiving the urgent care we desperately needed, one of the nurses informed me that they could not assist and that I should go elsewhere. Despite my frantic pleas, they insisted there was nothing they could do for my dog. I was left alone in an empty lobby, crying and holding Blossom until she died at 12:42 PM. It was devastating to witness, especially as the same nurse who told me to seek help elsewhere was later performing CPR on my deceased dog. Yesterday, I found a kitten in my building that was kicked out. Little guy isn’t chipped and not neutered. Took him here to see if he was chipped and he isn’t and asked about the cost to neuter him. The assistant manager informed me neutering would cost $350 and to have vaccines as well would be about $580 in total for both. Got confirmation from both the assistant manager AND the surgeon of this and that it can be done on the same day and best since the kitten is barely a year old, no bloodwork and such was needed. Said I’d sleep on it because this isn’t my cat and wasn’t sure if I was going to keep him to shell out that kind of money but regardless if I was going to keep him or not, little guy needed to get neutered in case I kept him or to make sure he has a better chance at a shelter.

When trying to set up appointment for my sick dog, they would put me and/or my mother on hold for 7+ minutes and then hang up on us. As well it seemed like nobody else was on the line attempting to even answer the phone call.

The Dr & Staff was very compassionate and attentive w/my Rosie!! Gave her clean bill of health and their pricing is reasonable, considering they have to work from their mobile truck they go above and beyond!! I definitely recommend them!! Ty Armory staff!

The vet here gave it to me straight about my 9m old cat having a tumor that she will not recover from while 2 other vets strung me along to get paid. I did not have an appointment, but he graciously checked my cat and I can tell he's a very experienced Vet by the way he explained everything to me clearly. I will be bringing my other cat here, where the people actually care. Thank you to everyone there for our closure.
