Archbold Urgent Care

From Canada and sought help to treat infected tooth. Was in and out and to the pharmacy a few doors down in under an hour. Spectacular service so friendly. Nice clean clinic and kind staff. As an old ER nurse I really appreciate good care. Thank you to all I encountered!

Be careful with the billing!! They recently charged me $200 for two appointments, one which happened a year ago! The filed it as a hospital outpatient visit instead of an urgent care visit. The co pays for my insurance for an urgent care visit are $45 and the cost for a hospital outpatient visit is $200. They then refused to change it to an urgent care visit when I asked. They have refused to change the way they filed it and have not been helpful at all. Due to an address change, they were apparently not able to send the bills to me, but failed to reach out to me until a year later. Again, I am only now being charged for a visit that happened a year ago, and a visit that happened months ago. My account was then sent to collections. I now owe $400…Find another urgent care!

Getting answers and waiting and the main hospital takes usually 6 hours minimum so choosing Urgent Care for non emergency situations is the first choice for me. Today's experience was something special. The staff at the front desk was kind, very professional and proficient. The attending nurse made sure to listen to my concerns/complaints and log them in after checking my vitals, then proceeded to run a few swabs for testing. The doctor was fast to check in on me and listened while examining me, he was also very informative and gave me some excellent advice. After all the tests were completed the doctor returned and explained what was going on and what medications I would be getting, asked if I needed immediate relief and then prayed with me. The nurse returned with the discharge paperwork

Every time I see a doctor there they are very rude, I don’t expect sympathy from them but atleast act like you like your job

Be careful with BILLING. It will be coded as an outpatient hospital visit rather than an urgent care. My insurance, BCBS Anthem, did not cover the visit. Archbold said they filed correctly and that they have problems with my insurance covering urgent care visits. My insurance said they should have submitted the claim as an urgent care. I'm not sure who to believe, but either way, I was stuck with an unexpected bill. I was happy with my care overall though. The PA was kind and knowledgeable.
