Terrible! I went to the ER for leg pain/ swelling . I was told it was anxiety and sent on my way. This was back in April. YESTERDAY (SEPTEMBER)I was looking through my records on the portal and learned that I have two blood clots. One clot is in my femoral artery and the other in my calf. My labs were also suggestive of having a clot. I was never told anything about having a blood clot and that everything was normal. How does this even happen?! 😡

Kidney Dr sent my mother to ER with stage 5 kidney failure. He sent her labs and specific instructions on treatment plan to them before we got there. While waiting to be seen, more than once, staff came out asking people sitting in wheelchairs to get out of them because they didn't have enough. Also overheard an anxious plea over the 2-way radios for ANY available IV pumps to be brought to the ER as they didn't have enough. Saw 2 people who were brought in by ambulance, unloaded from the stretchers and proped up in chairs in the waiting room. After waiting over 6 hours, and asking different staff very politely if they had any idea how much longer it might be, and the only answer being a very rude reply of "a lot of people have been waiting longer than you," we left.

Rachel Sanders, RN was the absolute best nurse I have ever had!!! She was so attentive and really cared about me. I felt like I had known her forever and it was such a great experience for my first time at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital all because of her!! She is really one of the best and so awesome at her job! She is so deserving of an award for her amazing job well done!

This by far is the worst Hospital anyone can go to.. If you or your loved one needs care please take them somewhere else it's really awful there. My mother-in-law had a heart attack and sat in the ER for about 15 hours. I myself had some problems and I sat for 10 hours. When I got up to the floor of the doctor and staff was horrible rude nasty. The most unprofessional place I've ever been to. I will never go back to this facility nor will I take my loved ones. They need to do better they need more staff they need to care about their patients because they certainly do not care about their patients.

The wait time in the emergency room is understandably based on the severity of each patient’s condition. However, I believe the front desk staff could enhance the patient experience by being more welcoming offering a smile, stepping out to reassure patients that they are being attended to as quickly as possible, and fostering a more comforting environment. Now, let me highlight the reason for this review. My grandmother was extremely ill, and due to her condition, she expressed herself in ways that were uncharacteristic of her usual demeanor. Despite this, two exceptional healthcare professionals provided her with outstanding care. Ashlynn Bryan, RN our ER nurse was phenomenal. Her passion for her work was evident in every interaction.
