Worst hospital! Don’t waist your time! They don’t care about you. My husband visited this hospital with severe symptoms (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, dehydration, and body aches). They only tested him for COVID and the flu and that's it! They sent him! He is a truck driver (we are from FL) and we had to drive to get him because he couldn't even walk! They only gave him a prescription! But how is that possible! We then took him to a hospital in Suwanee, FL, and the treatment was excellent. They ran all the tests, which came out with gastroenteritis (food poisoning)!

The physical therapist named Becky T. is so unprofessional and rude. She doesn’t know how to talk to people family members either. I know she is there to do a job but the way she comes off on some of the patients is very rude. We experienced her raising her voice and catching attitudes at our family member. How would she feel if it was her love ones in that bed and somebody did them like that. She really needs to learn how to first to talk to people and maybe she would get a better reaction out of people. Worst employee ever!!!!! Nurse Jasmine and OT. Cass are awesome by the way❤️

While it is a very small place the hearts of the people who work there are big. My Mom was there in what is called a step down rehabilitation center. She was only allowed to stay for a short period of time but she received great care there! The hospital has plenty of equipment to rehab a broken hip! I was very surprised and impressed.

Had my mother to Brooks County Hospital (x3) times in last 1.5 months, staff couldn't be nicer or more professional. One of them never passed by us without updating care process or asking if we needed anything. Have had several experiences at SGMC where we waited for up to 6 hours, when the staff at SGMC passes by you they walk very fast and look the opposite way as if they are hoping they don't have to answer a question or discuss your care. They acted like we were a burden to them. SGMC also seems to have a shortage of blankets and pillows, my mother is elderly and froze the whole time up until the point that we walked out after a 6 hour ER wait. My daughter was one of the children involved in the school bus wreck in brooks county just before school let out this year, in North Brooks. I am not going to mention any names because, there was not one person that did not treat us with the utmost care and concern. That team on duty that morning deserves a day off with pay! Lets face it people, that's what the hospitals and EMS trains for, a disaster, and it was one, maybe not to a large scale but when you have that many children coming into the ER altogether, it is chaos. And, they did a GREAT job, all of them!!!
