Arbrook Plaza

She was sent to ER after being there for 2 wks. She had dehydration/kidney failure/ low oxygen and she hadn't been checked in 4 hrs. Also the case manager was sooo into helping and was even saying if we took her home too early they would call Adult protective services but the second she went to ER she ignored my brother and spent 2 seconds letting him know she is gone so she is done. And floors were sticky. SO Not happy!

To: Arbrook Plaza Staff, Management and Ownership From: Rodger and Norma St John (Current Residents) We were asked to submit a personal statement regarding our experience at Arbrook and this note summarizes our response. We have been in residence just short of a year and are most happy to report as follows: 1. Accommodations - absolutely excellent. The correct room size and space appropriate for seniors who require complete simplicity. 2. Medical - personal daily attendance and prescriptions always on time with strict adherence to cleanliness. 3. Housekeeping - complete daily accountability. 4. Activities - generally very good although we are quite reserved in such matters. 5. Physical Therapy - very limited involvement thus far but appears quite good. 6. Staff Interaction - super

Granny was a tad apprehensive about moving into a nursing home, but she required 24 hour care. After a month, it was clear she was feeling better about it. Not only did she gain weight, which is a good thing, she was engaged in a number of activities such as bingo, physical therapy and daily exercises. And she had a roommate she could chat with. Checking in is quick with the temp machine they use. We appreciate the covid prevention measures as there have been a number of covid lockdowns lately in the facility. She's moved rooms a few times too. Sometimes due to covid concerns or roommate disputes. We understand these are harder issues to control but they do exist.

My aunt susie was recently here for rehab from a recent fall. We have had a very great experience with all staff from the administration to the staff . They were very patient , helpful and clean. Also attentive to my aunts needs and even her wants. Very wonderful staff and facility! They have made every effort to honor our requests and needs. By taking magnificent care of her. We are very thankful for the entire staff!
