Aran Eye Associates - Miramar

This office is very poorly run. My son and I have been waiting since 245 pm and it is now 545 pm and we are yet to be seen by the doctor. The building is very poorly kept—just FILTHY! There are countless elderly patients waiting here for HOURS to be seen. There isn’t even a water dispenser. Very very disappointing!

I had a very disappointing experience at Aran Eye Associates, and I feel compelled to warn others, especially families with elderly parents. From the moment you sign in, the front desk staff is rude and dismissive. There is no warmth, no patience, and no sense of care for patients or their families. While waiting with my mother, who is 84 years old, I chose to stand against the wall instead of sitting. I was not blocking anyone, not in the way, and not near any hallway. A nurse approached me in a very rude and aggressive manner and ordered me to sit down. She stood there and would not leave until she saw me sit, speaking to me in a demeaning, authoritarian way. Horrible experience. The young lady at the front desk was extremely disrespectful. She kept cutting me off while I was trying to explain my situation and talked to me with a nasty attitude. Then she waited until the very last minute to tell me my appointment was canceled, even though I was already there in pain. What makes it worse is that after telling me my appointment was canceled, they sent me a message saying my appointment “wasn’t confirmed,” but they also kept sending reminders saying my appointment was at 1:45. It makes no sense and shows how unorganized they are. Aran Eye Care did my surgery, and while I have been seen by a doctor, I still haven’t received any real help for the pain I’m in. This eye doctor's office is operated unethically. I got a referral to see the eye doctor. When I made my initial appointment with them as a new patient, I specifically asked them to verify and confirm if they are in the network of my insurance (because I don't want to see a doctor that is out of network), and the answer was YES. I did a visit in January, and they asked me to go back for a follow-up in February. During the two visits, nobody in that office informed me that they're not covered by my insurance. Six months later, in August, I received a bill of $455 for the visits. Now I've received a second notice of the bill. They are lying to patients and running a deceptive business. I've tried to give this office many chances. From missing referrals to horrible front desk staff, to long waits. I feel compelled to warn others of the mistreatment and conduct of this office. Save your time and find another doctor's office to visit as coming here will just raise your blood pressure.
