Arabella Health & Wellness of Carrabelle

My husband was in Arabella for 20 days after a very painful and difficult surgery to remove a hip. The Management and Staff were some of the nicest people I have ever met. Everyone was cheerful and kind to all the patients. The food was very good. The rehab went beyond to help him to get back to moving. Our stay was great.

I recently moved my mom to Arabella Health and Wellness of Carrabelle. The facility is modern, clean and welcoming with a very friendly staff. The Business Development Director, Crystal Raffield was a pleasure to work with while arranging my mom‘s transfer. The nursing Director, Courtney Cook went above and beyond to get all the prescribed medications my mom needed after the facility she was being transferred from dropped the ball. I am also very pleased with the Physical Therapy department. They are very understanding and have motivated my mom to try even when she doesn’t want to. More importantly, all the residents that I have talked to are very happy and love all the activities that are offered. I only wish I had moved my mom here sooner and love the fact that she is close to her famil

As a rehab social worker in Tallahassee, we refer to Arabella quite often and always have a great experience with their admissions team. They’ll take the time to review the referrals we send and provide helpful feedback. I never have to worry about lack of communication on their end. We’ll have people successfully transfer to their facility for long term care placement and, top of that, receive updates on how well they’ve adjusted and are thriving under their care. Arabella was like finding a gold nugget in a field of rocks. My Dad was in a Rehabilitation Facility, but he had gotten to the point that he could no longer do the physical requirements that the Assisted Living Facility required. I am a retired Physician Assistant having spent for than 40 years in healthcare. And I always heard there is never a good Nursing Home. I needed to try and find a nursing home somewhere around Tallahassee. I already had a pretty good idea which was bad then there were the other ones. I love being here. My experience with therapy has been excellent. I enjoy going shopping and playing online games. I was in a serious car accident that resulted in me needing 24-hour nursing care. I was living in Marianna Florida for 10 years with family and friends. The doctor in Tallahassee decided to send me to Arabella Health and Wellness of Carrabelle for Rehabilitation. I am still recovering from my injuries and have lived here for 11 years now. I was 37 when the accident happened. I am now 48 and I am grateful to the staff for the care that I have received. I feel very content with the activities provided and the freedom of having wi-fi to use my laptop to listen to music and watch movies. As a young man I am glad to be a part of the Arabella Family.
