APG Island Kids Pediatrics - Richmond

I’ve been taking kids here for years now they were better before when they were island kids. I brought my child in for severe constipation that has been ongoing for over a month, along with intermittent runny stool and very strong, foul-smelling gas. I was concerned about possible stool buildup with overflow diarrhea, as the symptoms are consistent with chronic stool retention. During the visit, the doctor searched for a fiber chart online and said don’t I know how to search google? She advised us to increase dietary fiber based on google. Given the duration and severity of the symptoms, I was expecting a more thorough evaluation and a structured treatment plan. Dr patterino is one of the most amazing doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is great with kids, kind, intelligent informative and thorough physician. His office amazing, they schedule appointments carefully allowing time with the doctor but very little wait time. And yet balances the needs of emergencies. He is a real treasure and his office staff are all so kind supportive and helpful. Highly recommended

From the check in process to the nurse who took vitals to the doctor who gave the examination on my children the experience was wonderful. They were kind and handled my children with care and patience. I would recommended this doctors office to all of my mother friends with small children and new moms. 10/10

10/10 !!!! Me and my three boys, had the pleasure of meeting NP Mary Orazem this afternoon and she is absolutely amazing . Despite the sick visit she was patient and caring with all three of my boys and I appreciate the kindness !!

Been taking my kids here for 10 years I love the doctors and staff here there’s always appointments available. And they open Saturdays too . Any concerns or help I need they always help and never felt judge
