Apex Pediatrics

My kid has been seeing Dr. Okonkwo for about 4 years. Always liked him. My son has been seeing him about stomach pain issues for the last couple of months. We had a Tele appointment to get a refill of the medicine he had been using. We discussed the problem of a stomach issue that he was still having.He was doing a little bit better and he needed more medicine. I asked him if he could call in the prescription and he told me he could not because it was a controlled substance. So I went and picked up the prescription, and he writes prescriptions for medicine that he hadn't been on for a couple of years after we'd only discussed stomach issues. Incompetent physician. Rude staff. Hung up on me

Great doctor and great office staff. You see one doctor and one nurse. The doctors wife works the front desk and always goes out of her way to help. If you call they fit you in. Shes even been willing to stay a few minutes late for me to pick up a sample of formula for my daughter!

Took my daughter to receive a vaccine today, and the doctor stuck the needle through her leg and when we addressed the issue, the doctor proceeded to have an attitude with us to hold her down so he could clean it. I’m not even sure if she received the vaccine.

Worst nurses ever!!!! They don't accept walk ins . I've had them hang up on me and when I called back they always have an attitude. The doctor is good but if I was him I would replace ever nurse they have because of how rude they are to people . Was going to go back there to take my child but I rather sit in a ER all day instead of going there and have them to act like they don't want to bring your child there
