AO Multispecialty Clinic Urology

Five month waiting period during which I changed my primary care provider. A week before , I get a phone call saying my referral is no longer effective. I call my insurance company which provides written evidence that the referral is still effective and I contact this practice informing them of this, they say my appointment is still fine. On the day of the appointment, I wait 1.5 hours only for them to tell me the referral is invalid and to reschedule in 3 more months. By the time I got the new doctor to issue a new referral, I was told to wait 12 more months. I have called the number mentioned in the reply below and left a voicemail. I have not received a reply in 2 weeks.

I was referred to this practice after spending 6 hours in the ER at Doctors Hospital on Thursday, Oct 31st. I went to Doctors Hospital the morning of the 31st in excruciating pain and feeling very nauseous. As someone who has had kidney stones in the past, I was pretty sure that is what I was experiencing. I had a CT scan done and the doctor at the ER referred me to this practice as they said I had a 6-7mm stone on the left. They fast tracked me into the urologist office and I was seen on Monday, November 4th at 11:15. I was seen by the PA at the office (not the DR). He informed me that not only did I have a 7mm stone on my left but I also had a 8mm stone on my right. I asked him would I be able to pass them on my own and he said no, that the doctor would need to go in and get them. The o

Bad staff communication and follow up. Phone system says always being “upgraded” but it’s not.

After going to another urologist for two and a half years with no relief I change to Dr. MOHAPATRA. After the initial visit and having surgery within two month span, I was able to void without any pain! Went from four meds to one as needed! We call this a miracle! Highly recommend Dr. Mohapatra! Life changing for sure!

Currently waiting in their parking lot 30 minutes past closing waiting for my spouses appointment to be finished. His appointment was at 4:00 after being pushed back an hour prior to his original and was not called back to a room until 40 minutes past his new time.
