My mother saw Dr. Celifarco for severe acid reflux, Chagas’ disease, and IBS. After her appointment, I sent him an email to clarify her medical history, current symptoms, and the medications she had already tried that did not work. Despite this, no prescription was sent to her pharmacy for several hours. When I called his office near closing, his staff admitted that he had not submitted any prescriptions. After I explained again which medications had already failed and politely asked for other options, he eventually submitted one of those same failed medications, showing no regard for the information I had provided. I left multiple messages with his after-hours service, and when Dr. Celifarco finally called me back, the experience was shocking. Instead of showing professionalism or empathy

Dr. Celafarco is wonderful, his staff and him are always professional yet make you feel safe and welcome. Never over booked short wait if any . The Doctors know who you are and cares. My all my diagnosis were accurate and addressed quickly. I've had a few procedures done and all of them a consistent high standards is met ina clean peaceful atmosphere..

When a Doctor fails to properly screen a patient prior to a medical procedure it most likely will result negatively. Patient aspirated during a procedure and awoke with breathing difficulties. Unfortunately his office is ran similar to an assembly line, where patients are rushed out the door to create room for the next patient coming out of a procedure. Very little regard for a patients safety or wellbeing. When a call was placed to the Doctor the very next day seeking medical advice this patient was advised to visit the local walk in urgent care. That’s the only insufficient advice offered after he and his assistants failed to properly screen patient thus directly causing patient’s adverse medical reactions from procedure. MEDICAL MALFEASANCE? I couldn’t and wouldn’t ever recommend D

I have been a patient of Dr. Celifarco's for over 30 years. He is very knowledgeable, empathetic, and listens to all my issues and assures me everything will be ok. He has not been wrong. My husband and friends also see him and say the same as i do...i hope he never retires. Thanks for your service Dr. C

He takes time to speak with you in depth if needed, and he is always upbeat and smiling. He is a competent GI doctor and has great bedside manner.
