First experience today was excellent! I had another doctor specifically recommend Dr. Kaufman and I’m glad that he did. Unfortunately, I’ve had lots of foot issues but try to remain active. My last visit to a different podiatrist ended with “I can’t find anything wrong, so put it in a boot for a month and come back to see me.” 😡 When Dr. Kaufman came in the room, I asked him if he’d like a brief history of my foot issues and he said “that would be wonderful.” Dr. Kaufman had already reviewed my X-rays, then inspected my foot and gave me his prognosis - high arches causing stress on the outside of my foot resulting in tendinitis and pain. The receptionist was very kind and Dr. Paris Payton gave a lot of attention to my concerns and was very knowledgeable. I appreciate her walking me through everything she did. My appointment was thorough and I had no wait time. Great experience with this office!

My experience with the office and billing has been a nightmare, and therefore I would not recommend seeing the doctor, even though I liked her. I paid for a specialist visit using my insurance copay with the understanding that this doctor was in my network. Thus I was very surprised to receive a bill for over $200. During the appointment, the doctor looked at a callus on my foot and said, "Oh, I can take care of that." She spent <5 minutes with a scalpel, added a dollop of medicine, and I felt satisfied. At no point was it mentioned that this treatment was not part of the visit and that I would be billed for it. Had she not brought it up, I would not have said yes. Very upset with this practice, did not like the attitude of the billing department, and would cut off my own foot before going

I have tried this several times, I hope this one works. I was taken care of by several members of the staff. they were all great! Dr Kaufman is the best; he has performed three surgeries to date and I have another one scheduled. I wouldn't keep coming back to him if I wasn't happy with the results.
