Dr Woods is the absolute best. We love him so much. He has literally changed my life. I no longer am in constant pain in my left foot. It would just radiate pain even if I was just sitting in a chair. It has been like that for more than 10 years. After Dr. Woods operated on it and it healed I have been pain free. Something that I haven't been in a very long time. Now hiking is even more enjoyable.

I am 70 years old, and had a large arthritic mass on the big toe of my right foot. I made the mistake of calling another foot doctor in Valdosta, and all he did was recommend orthopedic shoes to try to "break it up". That answer was unacceptable to me, so I called Ankle and Foot Associates in Valdosta and had a consultation with Dr. Emily Quinn. She immediately said she could help me with surgery, explained everything to me, and we scheduled my surgery. The results have been nothing short of AMAZING! The surgery took under an hour, and I had virtually NO pain after it. The incisions didn't even hurt. The worst part of it was wearing a rather cumbersome boot afterward, but that was it. Friendly and attentive staff. Dr. Woods takes the time with you to understand the problem and then on the flip side takes the time to explain the treatment options and what each of the options may mean to and for you over the course of treatment and recovery.

Had an 830am appointment, arrived at 820am. The receptionist watched me open the door, walk in to an almost empty lobby and stand in front of her as she ignored me to continue her personal conversation (blond hair, did t catch her name) I then proceeded to wait in the lobby for 50 minutes, just to get called back to the intake room to wait some more. By 930 and still not yet being seen, I decided to cancel my appointment and leave. While Im sure this is an anomaly, I believe the blame lies in the one receptionist who initially ignored me, and didnt put my information in the system to be seen.

I highly recommend this doctor for any foot or ankle pain. The from the doctor down to the assistants to the tech everyone is kind and helpful and very patience..
