Dr. Nic Dodson and his care team are phenomenal caregivers. The check in process is smooth and considerate. The wait time is better than most offices I frequent, and Dr. Dodson is easy to talk to with a caring personality and impeccable bedside manner. He is a great listener and it's very thorough in his examination and follow up. No notch care from all if his staff with excellent, compassionate, and respectful service. Unable to get past the incompetent office staff. My husband called with a foot issue and was given an appointment the next day. Great, right? When he arrived to be seen he was told our insurance is a HMO so he needs a referral from our PCP. So he was not seen or rescheduled. When I called back to explain our insurance does not require a referral I was told "but you have a HMO" and then I was HUNG UP ON after I made the statement "you can Google the meaning of open access". I called our insurance company to make sure I was right. I was. The insurance rep put me on hold and called the office to inform them they needed to review the terms of their contract with our insurance company, a referral is not required, but he had to leave a voice-mail, as no one answered the call. Who knows if anyon

I hope the doc is more competent than the office staff. I wouldn't know because I never got to see him. Showed up for an appointment I made over the phone 3-4 weeks earlier only to be told they "aren't showing an appointment" and I couldn't be worked in that day but I could reschedule. No thanks!

I needed a podiatrist, since my podiatrist was retiring. Dr. Dobson was able to quickly schedule an appointment for me as a new patient, and intently listened as I described all the issues with my feet and ankles. I was impressed with the depth of his knowledge and expertise, and I am sure that he is very capable of taking care of any of my foot and ankle problems. I am happy that he is here in Moultrie.
