I can’t say enough about how incredible the team at Animal Medical West is. They cared for my pet from his puppy days through his final moments, and they were exceptional every step of the way. Joannah and the front desk staff are warm and welcoming, the vet techs are wonderful, and the doctors are truly outstanding. Saying goodbye to my baby was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but Dr. Broach and the entire veterinary staff showed extraordinary compassion and grace during that time. Their care, humility, and kindness helped carry me through one of the most difficult days of my life. I wholeheartedly recommend Animal Medical West to anyone looking for a truly caring and trustworthy local veterinarian.

Absolutely would recommend! The vets are very on top of it here. They helped me catch up on the vaccinations for botb my cats. I just moved here and didn't even think about a new groomer for my cat. Well I was about 2 months late on finding one on time. Luckily, Amy was willing to try grooming her with Gabapentin instead of full seduction. My girl is a little (extremely) mean, when you're trying to make her look pretty. Anyways, Amy was able to take off all of her mats and she is back to begging for pets/cuddles immediately. Thank you so much!

I was on vacation over the Thanksgiving week when my dog developed some health issues. I found this parctice through the Facebook group "I love Edisto". Their recommendations and comments were so positive, that I felt comfortable to call and make an appointment. i can not say enough about how welcoming this practice was, starting with the front staff, the vet tech was so kind and professional, the veterinarian, Dr. DeHart gave Tucker a thorough exam and recommended medications that helped him be more comfortable until we could return home to see our own veterinarian. The practice even contacted us later to see how he was doing. What a great group of professionals. Thank you Animal Medical West.

Wonderful, caring staff at AMW. Easy to make appointments and efficient in and out. We added a grooming session to annual medical checks. Grooming did a wonderful job and kept us informed when challenged with tangled tail feathers. We will be back!

First timer and very pleased. Our English Bulldog is a handful and the team at AMW were patient and spent as much time as was needed to get to know our little guy.
