I took my 13-year-old dog to this vet after taking over his care from his previous owner my father who passed away. I explained that he hadn’t eaten for a day, was moving slowly, and not playing like usual. The staff suggested bloodwork and additional tests. I agreed to the bloodwork only because of my dog’s age and condition. When they returned, the bill had jumped to $515. I asked why, and was told they ran extra tests because my dog had diarrhea—tests I never authorized. They removed a couple of charges after I questioned it, but the bill was still $379. I was sent home with three medications, even after explaining that my dog was not eating. Their only advice was to give him rice and chicken with the pills. My cat went to Animal Medical center frequently for Stomatitis, probably about every two weeks. I had to take him to a dental specialists for the removal of the rest of his teeth. Crown veterinary Dental specialists is who Animal Medical Center referred me to. The specialists and myself requested his records be sent over to them. It took Animal Medical Center two weeks to send the records. The specialists didn't even have the records before my cat's consultation that I had scheduled with them. The specialists did his procedure and put him on Prednisolone. I needed a refill on his Prednisolone and wasn't going to drive to Charlotte. The doctor at the dental specialists sent over a prescription to Animal Medical Center. I called to check on the prescription and was told it would be filled an

Very friendly staff, good customer service. They were very good to my cats. The price is great for Service that they provide. Very helpful and Knowledgeable. They keep us well informed though the whole process. After the procedure, they called us at home to check up on my cats So impressed.

My lil Cookie was throwing up. They told me to bring her in with no hesitation and she’s better now. Very, very nice staff and docs.

This is how I picked up my dog after boarding her for 4 days. Not only did they let my dog get attacked by multiple dogs they charged me for the antibiotics. She has multiple staples and lacerations all over her face. They charged me for the boarding still. Receptionist Tim said "sometimes dogs are dogs". They told me they had a peaceful play area option for well behaved dogs she could go to daily which they also charge for. Told me 2 employees will be watching over the dogs at all times. Then how does this happen? I'll tell you how. I walk outside to see the so called peaceful dogs and they are all going nuts and there was ZERO employees watching over them.
