Animal Hospital of Somerdale

All the girls at Somerdale hospital where unbelievably sweet and kind, they treated my little dog so special. They gave me free medicine for my dog and just the nicest people in the world! I highly recommend to take your pet here

Very pleasant, knowledgeable, and kind. They explained everything out and made sure I was comfortable with what I had to do. The prices changed a bit from what I was quoted on the phone, but that was expected after they have completed a full exam and tests. They are happy campers.

My dog Mongo was having issues with getting sick and not keeping any food down. I originally took him to red bank, and they found that he had something blocking his intestines, they quoted me something like $8,000 dollars or more for the surgery , I called around everywhere to get a price lower, and heard the sweetest kindest voice on the other end when I called here, the Dr could hear my frustration and worry in my voice I’m sure, and she calmed me down, and quoted me half that price! What a relief I felt! She had my boy Mongo in the next morning, completed his surgery, and he’s doing amazing now 4 weeks out! The Dr and staff treated my boy so well! I will never take my dogs anywhere else! Thank you to Dr Serena and Staff!!! I can’t thank you enough!!

Dr. Renaud and her team are simply the best. They provided incredible compassion when I had to put my senior cat down, and they've been phenomenal with my other cat's ongoing health issues. Dr. Renaud's technical skills are top-tier (she can successfully handle procedures other vets have not) and her old school expertise is impressive. The entire staff is consistently kind and professional with top-tier tech skills as well. Don't let the busy roadside location deter you, the care inside is world-class. Highly recommend!

From a medical standpoint, I have nothing negative to say about the veterinarian herself. She was professional, kind, and handled my pet well. Based on the actual treatment, I initially had a very positive impression. What was truly disappointing to me, however, was the business practice of this clinic. As a client, I personally felt strongly pressured financially, and the overall pricing structure came across as excessive and unexpected. Medications that require refills were quoted at nearly five times the price compared to other pharmacies. When I asked for a written prescription instead so I could fill it elsewhere, a fee of $20 per prescription was charged. Additionally, when another veterinarian requested my pet’s medical records to be transferred to a new clinic, I was asked to pay
