Animal Emergency Clinic of The Hudson Valley

We brought our sweet cat, Link, to the clinic in the early hours of the morning. He'd been very sick for a couple of days and they ran every test they could think of at our regular vet with no answers. He continued to deteriorate until we awoke to find him unresponsive and brought him here. From the moment we called and came in, the staff was empathetic, thorough, and timely. They took a detailed medical history and immediately tried to do that they could to stabilize him. Unfortunately , Link didn't survive. But Dr. Black was incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with some likely answers as well as true, heartfelt empathy. She took her time with us, answering questions, explaining biological and disease processes, and crying along with us. She shared stories of her own pets, and gave u

HAPPY DOG, HAPPY PARENTS! We called at night for emergency service. They told us to come right in. Took us quickly. Our dog had eaten some food which is toxic for dogs. They induced vomiting. (See pictures) Problem solved. We are relieved! Thank you, Dr. Kosofsky! We appreciate you.

Thank you so much to everyone here for being so gentle and compassionate with my cat and I. I had no idea what to do when my cat passed away unexpectedly so I called and the receptionist was very helpful and when I got there so was the nurse and the doctor helped me through each step of the way. I appreciate how helpful and how easy of a transition you all made it to be during this hard time. You were very patient with me when I fumbled and cried with my credit card/payment cuz I was so sad and you let me spend some time with him to say our final goodbyes. Thank you for all you did for us!

I had the most horrible experience at the Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley yesterday. They call themselves an emergency service but are severely understaffed. The few staffs they have are rude, discriminate. We took our cat to them around 8:00 PM as our normal vet was closed during that time. Even after waiting for nearly 2 hours, the front desk employee couldn't give us an ETA on when she would be checked. She was rude, discriminative and insisted that my cat wasn't serious enough (she had been coughing for quite some) in comparison to pets in some severe accident(which we didn't see while we were there). Their wait times are manufactured - the vet techs if they have any can at least run some initial diagnosis on animals waiting to be checked like the other places in town. T

This clinic was wonderful. We brought our dog in today to be put down. It was time. They were so incredibly kind. Leah was just wonderful. The staff were kind. He went peacefully and with all the love in the world around him. Thank you for taking us in, being so caring to not only our boy, but also to us. You were amazing! (Hudson's mom and dad)
