Losing a pet is never easy and having to say goodbye to my 18-year-old long-haired Chihuahua, Pretty, was one of the most painful experiences of our life. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff treated us—and our beloved Pretty—with such kindness, patience, and compassion. They took the time to explain everything step by step, never rushing us, and made sure Pretty was comfortable and at peace throughout the process. Their gentle approach and genuine empathy made an incredibly difficult moment a little more bearable, and for that I will always be grateful. I recently took my dog to Animal Clinic Western for vaccinations, a prescription, and a quote for dental cleaning, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, putting both me and my nervous pup at ease right away. The service was efficient, professional, and thorough, and everything was clearly explained. It’s obvious they genuinely care about the animals. Highly recommend this clinic—we’ve found our new forever vet! 🐾

I brought my 3-pound puppy in for a basic checkup. The vet performed a very brief visual exam (looked at his body, ears, and mouth) and then recommended several extra vaccines and products without clearly explaining why they were necessary. I left with a bill of nearly $360, which felt far higher than I expected for the care that was provided. The front-desk staff seemed disorganized and were defensive when I asked for clarification. If you go, ask for a full explanation of recommended treatments and an itemized estimate up front .. and be prepared to decline anything you don’t understand or feel is unnecessary. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic.

This clinic is very unorganized. The doctor came across as rude and defensive, and the overall experience felt more focused on selling extra services than on caring for my pet. He barely examined my puppy but still recommended a long list of additional vaccines and products. I wish I had read the reviews before going. I was told my puppy had to be examined before receiving flea prevention, and during that exam several other vaccines and products were added on as “necessary,” with the warning that without them my puppy could become seriously ill. That felt more like a scare tactic than genuine care. When I declined the extras, the doctor responded dismissively and told staff to charge me $60 before walking out.
