Animal Clinic Leestown Road

I absolutely love this clinic. Dr. Clark is a fantastic vet and I rave about him all the time. He's no nonsense in that he won't "sell" you stuff he doesn't think it's needed, such as testing that he doesn't think will make a difference, and unlike some vets, he doesn't have a partnership with a specific dog food brand and he doesn't mention or try to sell you any specific brand of RX food if it's needed, he lets you make that decision and sells a variety of brands and will work with online companies like Chewy if what you prefer is on there instead, but he also keeps up with current research and I trust him to give us the best, most up to date options. The staff here is very kind and they allowed us to bring our very geriatric kitty in to put her down on a Saturday 30min before close without an appointment. We weren’t sure if we were going to put her down or give her time to potentially bounce back, and when we made the decision we understood it was very last minute and may need to take her to an ER. But the staff at Leestown Rd vet clinic were wonderful and let us come in, saying they will never turn away a sick or injured animal. They were also very caring for our sweet old gal even though we are new to the area so they had not seen her as a patient before. Thank you for helping us have a peaceful goodbye to our sweet Sophie ♥️

Dr. Clarke and his team are angels on earth, I trust him and his staff entirely. They know my pet by name and they take amazing care of him. My cat is pretty sickly and they do everything in their power to take care of him. ♡ They're all truly animal people through and through, they also take wonderful care of my mother-in-law's dogs. The best vet practice in Lexington far and away.

I’ve been going to Dr. Clark for many years and have always been very pleased with the services. However, no amount of praise can express how much I appreciate the compassion and kindness that was shown to me and my family when we had to come to the decision to end my 17 year old dog, Chloe’s life. They helped us make the experience one full of love and comfort for Chloe who was surrounded by familiar voices and hugs as she drifted away. I can never thank them enough.

Dr. Clark and his staff are so wonderful! They are friendly, welcome questions and always answer you honestly and completely, in terms that you understand. They are very compassionate and empathetic. When I had to make the tough decision to euthanize KoKo Puff II, my male Pomeranian; they were so understanding and patient with me. Afterwards, they sent me sympathy card, which I truly appreciate, because a lot of people don't understand how you can love a pet so much. Dr. Clark and his staff are the BEST!!!
