I had a very positive experience at Marietta Eye Clinic during my recent consultation for presbyopia and lens surgery options. The entire staff was professional, efficient, and very friendly throughout the visit. The diagnostic testing was thorough, and everything was explained clearly and patiently. Dr. Andre Cohen was especially impressive. He carefully reviewed my visual condition and gave a very honest and thoughtful recommendation. Since my distance and intermediate vision are still very good and only near vision is affected, he explained that multifocal lens surgery, although advanced, could involve compromises in visual sharpness at other distances. Dr Cohen is everything I want in a doctor that is going to put a scalpel to my eye! (I had cataract surgery.) From the consultation to the surgery to the post-op, he was personable, professional, and left me feeling great about the process. After the surgery, my expectations for the surgery were exceeded! Prior to surgery my uncorrected vision had been estimated to be between 20/1200 and 20/1400. I was put in glasses at age 6 - 62 years ago. Thanks to Dr. Cohen and his staff, my vision no longer requires correction. When I walk my dog and look up, I can see the individual needles in the Georgia Pines in the neighborhood.
