I recently had an outpatient procedure at Andalusia Health, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Every single person I encountered in the outpatient surgery department was incredibly professional and made me feel safe, confident, and comfortable from start to finish. Teri in pre-op and Tina in registration made everything quick and seamless. My nurses—Tina, Amy, Deanna, Keri, and Allie— thank y’all for taking such wonderful care of me. You truly went above and beyond. My tech, Brittanee, was so warm and friendly and immediately put me at ease. Six hours. That’s how long this hospital left a very sick man sitting in the ER waiting to be admitted to a room that had already been ready for FOUR hours. Staff knew at 2 PM he was being admitted. The room was ready at 4 PM. Yet he sat there for six hours because — and this is the exact excuse we were given — “we need someone to come down and get him.” Six hours to find someone to bring a patient upstairs. But apparently there was plenty of time for other things. During those same hours we watched staff in the lobby laughing, cutting up, and playing trivia like it was game night. Plenty of time for jokes and socializing, but somehow no time to move a sick patient into the room that had been waiting on him for hours. And the ER experience itself was just as bad. I am truly thankful to God for leading me to this cardiac care team. My P.A.and the entire staff showed wisdom, skill, patience, and compassion at every step. I was treated with dignity and genuine concern, not just as a patient, but as a person. Their professionalism and kindness brought peace in a difficult season, and I am grateful for the way they serve others. Highly recommended. A blessing to this community.

Our family had an outstanding experience at Andalusia Health during my dad's week-long stay. The ICU nurses went above and beyond in every aspect of his care, truly compassionate, attentive, and professional. The doctors and all other staff members, including at the ER, were equally exceptional, taking time to explain everything clearly and making us feel supported throughout his treatment. We had a similar experience with our mother earlier in the year. We are incredibly fortunate to have a hospital like Andalusia Health in our community. Thank you to everyone who helped my dad recover. We will absolutely return here whenever we need care again. Highly recommend!

My husband was shot in the hand by a nail gun. Thankfully it did not hit the bone. Sara Purvis CRNP and nurse Casey were AWESOME. We were in and out in 45 min. The nail was successfully removed and he is doing great. What a wonderful experience start to finish. Thank you ER staff for being kind, swift and professional. You made this such a smooth experience.
