I noticed that most reviews are written when someone isn't happy with the service or product they have received from a company or business. That won't be the case here. I have been with Dr. Russell for over 13 years and have experienced the best dental care for myself and my family. Dr. Russell has been so good to us and her "bedside manner" is fantastic. Dr. Russell and her staff are so knowledgeable and kind. Hailey(one of the hygienists) is so good, that I never feel any pain or discomfort when I go for my bi-annual cleanings. At the front desk is Lisa, who knows more about dental insurance than the actual insurance companies. This is a huge bonus, when having to get dental work done, while also working off a budget. I went to Dr. Russell because she is in network for my insurance. I had not seen a dentist in a while, and I needed a great deal of restorative work. After my first appointment, her staff presented me with a treatment plan for a bridge, with each crown and the midpoint costing $960. I went back for a filling, and asked to add some procedures to my plan. The same procedures were priced at $1500 on the new plan. Bait and switch. I emailed in response to the new plan, and got the answer that more procedures had been added, so the person responding (Lisa) did not even understand the question, or at least her answer was not relevant. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Russell’s since 2019, six years now, and for the first four years I had no complaints. The care was consistent, and I appreciated the service. Unfortunately over the past two years, my experience has taken a sharp decline due to repeated scheduling and communication issues. On five separate occasions now my time has been wasted. Twice I was given a confirmed date and time for an appointment, only to arrive and be told I was not on the schedule—now or in the future. I’ve also been called and told that something was ready for pickup or that the office was ready to see me, only to arrive and learn that was not the case. Was my first time going here and had nothing but a great experience! All the staff were super friendly , made me feel taken care of, and most important judgment free. Thank you Destiny and Amy for making my cleaning experience 10/10. Never thought I’d say I look forward to my next dentist appointment.
