Dr. Al Rubaiay is a true gem and rarity in the healthcare field who treats you with dignity and respect. My 67-yr old father is a patient of his and every single visit to his office is encouraging. He did a successful job of my dad’s ankle fusion surgery at North shore University Hospital in August and dad is already back on his feet due to the wonderful care by doc and his team at the Great Neck office. His bedside manner at the hospital and private office is so kind and warm and he has also made sure dad gets everything he needs for a speedy recovery. I would recommend him a thousand times and I am so appreciative of the care my father is receiving at North Shore Foot and Ankle Associates.

Dr. Ammar Al Rubaiay performed Morton’s neuroma surgery on my right foot. Before my surgery, every step was as though I was stepping on a sharp pebble. Having exhausted all treatment options, Dr. Ammar, being a wonderful person, doctor and surgeon, returned me to absolute comfort with the removal of that neuroma which was .9 cm!
