Amity Mead LMT

Amity is a wonderful massage therapist, I went to her for some chronic hip tightness and after seeing her I felt so much more open than I have in a long time. She has an intuitive and very skillful touch. Highly recommend seeing her!

Now that I’ve done both a traditional massage and a Thai massage I can easily say Amity is the best LMT I’ve worked with (and I’ve had to work with a lot.) Her knowledge of how to diagnose and treat legacy issues (I’ve had a number of injuries over the years as an outdoor athlete) and apply a variety of different techniques to treat me has been incredibly helpful. After getting Thai massage, I feel like I got the kind of treatment reserved for high end professional athletes, as I was totally blown away! Can I give 6 stars?!?!?

Amity is an attentive, caring and skilled massage therapist! She listens to your needs and adjusts the pressure or techniques as needed. A clean and comfortable space as well.

I went to Amity to get a massage from repetitive over use exercise. I train for triathlons and probably don't get any body work done until it's overdo. Amity was pleasant and our meeting was very relaxed and comfortable from the very beginning. I enjoyed her work as she has a good sense to her on what is to much and when she could go deeper, this isn't something you can teach someone, she's learned this through her practice over the years. I left completely satisfied and felt good about the amount of energy she'd put into me. I will be returning to Amity soon, she's a talented masseuse and has a positive energy about her.

I've been seeing Amity for well over 3 yrs on a regular basis. Her passion, presence and depth of training are evident and consistent. Prior to experiencing her work I was in what seemed to be an endless search for a skilled practitioner. I feel fortunate and blessed to have found such a caring and gifted therapist. I've been referring family and friends over the years and Amity continues to enrich our journey of health and wellness.
