AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette

After undergoing 2 major surgeries my mom was transferred to AMG. Her nurse on night shift was Horrible. She had a Ileostomy bag and when she would call to have it emptied it would take an hour or plus before they would come empty and by that time it had leaked all over her. This happened multiple times even after reporting it . My mom did Not feel comfortable or safe being there. On the night I stayed sleep with her I witnessed the charge nurse along with another nurse bust into the room swinging the door open with Out knocking and turning all the lights on while the patient is trying to get some rest. It was very inconsiderate. My mother ended up leaving before her discharge date. No patient should ever feel like my mom did. I hope the next patient doesn’t go through what my mom did.

The absolute best!!!! The staff is phenomenal and attentive. Facility is clean. Melissa - Case Manager truly cares for all of her patients. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone needing care!!

The staff makes a difference, one patient at a time in your dedication and compassions. I truly appreciate the positive way everyone treated my mother. I had my sister Linda in this hospital from 6-5-24 through the entire month she was at a point where we thought she would not make it. The staff was so informative and sweet to us. My sister is physically and mentally handicapped I stayed most days and nights with her, but to be very honest I was very comfortable leaving her there without me. Special shout out to Samantha that brought us there and staff Chris/Respiratory , Jordan/ Nurse, Ms Mary and Nina our very special lady that kept her clean and shimmying/dancing. Linda is doing well thanks to y’all and many more I didn’t catch their name. Thank you all very much. Please don’t hesitate if you need a Pulmonary Specialist. God Bless You All !
