Ames Performance Physical Therapy

My daughter has been working with Molly for the past month after a foot injury caused her issues this spring. As a dancer, runner and active 12 year old, "resting and letting it heal" was proving difficult. Molly has been able to work with Dr Zimmerman to fix the root cause and help strengthen her lower body and form to be proactive. I've been so impressed with their care and treatment and cannot recommend them enough for your young athlete!

If you are having a hard time finding a physical therapist, look no further! Megan has been so helpful and knowledgeable, helping me get back on track, after months of knee pain. She helped me understand the root of my pain and gave me the exercises / information to truly get better, not just bandaid the problem!

I can not describe how amazing Megan has been to work with! I started out with a lot of pain, swelling, and difficulty using my foot. Megan went above and beyond to help me get back to my full potential. She provided me with ample amounts of stretches, exercises, and activities to both reduce my pain and strengthen my foot back to normal. Megan always listened to me regarding my pain, struggles, and also my goals that I wanted to be able to achieve. She created a plan customized to me that helped me get back to where I wanted to be. Megan was always very encouraging, positive, and helpful every single step of the way. I 110% reccommend her to anyone in need of physical therapy!

I cannot say enough good things about Megan. When I started working with her I had such severe back pain I was unable to do normal daily activities. I can happily say that I am now pain free 90% of the time and have the tools to combat the occasional flare up. Megan focused on reestablishing my foot/core connection which made a huge difference. She went above and beyond researching and trying new things as my pain migrated during the healing process. One of my favorite things about Megan is even through a painful and discouraging injury/recovery process she met me where I was at each session with encouragement, understanding and working toward getting me back to 100%.

I've worked with both Gunnar and Megan at Home Team. Both of them have gone above and beyond to help me as I work towards my fitness goals. They've take time out of their days to do things like re-taping my feet without me having to schedule a session with one of them. Gunnar has performed a technique called dry-needling on me. It is the single most effective treatment I've ever had for a tight muscle. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!
