American Health Network - Avon

The care I received when visiting was great. However afterwards they billed me twice for the same visit, and when I called them awhile ago they said it’s out of their hands once it’s billed off to insurance. I have now been battling a charge through insurance for months when it was a mistake from the provider and I finally gave up and paid it because nobody within the AMH billing department wanted to help me and kept saying I was overdue. I even sent them my proof of insurance because my insurance company said this is incorrect but alas AMH ignored all of my requests and kept sending bills! Ridiculous your insurance can literally cover something and you can still be charged due to malpractice of the AMH billing infrastructure.

This is a very unprofessional facility. The respiratory therapist must have been a drill Sargent in her previous life. She was rude & wouldn't answer my question, just told me "you can go if you want ",etc. Today I stop to ask them to check my BP they have been watching & they were too busy. Don't go here, die at home, it's less stressful. UPDATE: Had sleep study mud November & finally get a call on December 29th they have results. I asked t have them mailed to me. It is Jan 12th & nothing. At his point, I'm calling my insurance & Medicare & they can deal with these violations.

I am always fighting with my neurologist about my medication, the wait will be hours. My neurologist knows I need my medication to even live and he acts as if I abuse it when I wholeheartedly need it.

I have brought my daughter to the Avon Express Care location for a sports physical for several years now. However, today after paying and waiting, my daughter was suddenly turned away from being seen for a sports physical- she was told it is because she had a heart ablation in 2022 so the physician wouldn't see her??????? In addition, they couldn't issue a refund due to computer problems. She's never had this problem. Anyone go through this?

I was with AHN for a VERY long time(10years) and due to missed appointment. They cancelled like no probationary period or anything. Now I'm having the WORST time finding a new primary care. I use to feel like AHN was AMAZING and loved it there. After optium took over and one of the BEST receptionist passing away. This place has turned into the worst. Just can't believe the doctor I trusted with my life just pushes you out. Been struggling for almost a year since I was "dismissed" anyways I hope anyone with serious health issues is VERY careful with your appointments don't miss even if you're about to have surgery. Thank you
