American Fork Specialty Clinic - InstaCare

We have been to this instacare multiple times in the past few months with different issues my children have faced. Each visit has been in and out under 1 hour. The xrays were done right there and all of the medication has been sent in correctly. I just want to shout all the doctors and nurses who have done a terrific job taking care of my family!

I have had a lot of good experiences at AF Instacare. But tonight was not one of them. The provider refused to give me Toradol and Benadryl without my ride being in the room with me. My son was asleep in the car, so my husband had stayed with him while I went in for my migraine. He did not believe me and even had the nurse check to make sure my driver was in the room before getting the shot. He also made sure to tell me rather rudely that urgent care solves immediate issues like providing pain relief for a migraine, not getting to the bottom of the cause of the migraine. I never asked him to get to the bottom of it. I just wanted relief. I was very disappointed in how I was treated. That provider needs a course in bedside manner and how to talk to a patient.

The providers at this instacare are fine but why can they NEVER fax the rx over in a timely manner?? I have been there multiple times and never not had to call at least one additional time to get the prescription. The lack of follow through is frustrating and really poor patient care.

The care provided was fine and the providers were kind. Unfortunately, the office only called over one of our two prescriptions to the pharmacy. Because we were one of the last appointments of the day, the office had closed and there was no way to get back into contact with the staff. The pharmacist said that this happens frequently with this provider. Fortunately for us, the provider called the pharmacist several minutes later about a different patient and he was able to get the needed information about our second prescription as part of the same call. I highly recommend that you get a paper copy of any prescriptions and take them to the pharmacy yourself, especially if you visit around closing time.

Barrett Raymond NP in instacare, what a waste of a provider. He didn’t listen to us, cut us off as we were describing symptoms, very quickly was looking to prescribe something and told us to go see someone else. No care, no empathy, worst instacare visit we have had. IHC Clinical relations, contact me directly. Please don’t post you copied and paste BS, contact me if you want to do something about it.
