American Family Care Tiger Town

This was an excellent experience. The online documentation and pre-arrival check-in were easy to complete. The staff at the front desk was friendly and efficient, as was the intake/triage technician. Zenaida Fritz, NP was the provider that completed my assessment and work up. Despite being very busy and near closing time, she had an excellent attitude and the sort of bedside manner that every patient hopes for. She listened carefully, asked sensible questions, and encouraged my own involvement in my care. She was empathetic while also being decisive and confident. She is a fantastic provider and in the event I need to visit an urgent care again, she would be my choice every time. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Scheduling and check in were easy. The wait time once getting called to the back is absolutely terrible. Here I am thinking after getting called to the back within 10 minutes of check in, this will finally be a good visit. To my surprise, I’m just sitting in the room for at least an hour before anyone came in. Once the nurse / Dr did come in , it was such a quick, rushed interaction. She didn’t seem concerned with what I was really experiencing. She downplayed it and kept giving me basic tips while offering to “just call me in something to treat it.” Treat what exactly ??? I expressed not wanting to “just be treated” for something that may not even be necessary. Here I am again out of a copay with no real diagnosis. Such a waste of my time and money. I do not recommend this location.

Scheduled appointment online for 12:30. Arrived early 11:50am. Was called to the back by 12:05 after paying copay. I was excited because I got to the back fast.  I was never seen and ended up leaving at 1:08. After an hour of sitting in the back waiting for the doctor and no one checked in, I left and still didn’t see anyone on my way out. Not even at the front desk. I left and went to Auburn Medical Pavilion. This place was a joke. A waste of my money and especially my time. No check in or anything in over an hour.

I was traveling from Atlanta and needed to see a medical professional on short notice. A pharmacist at a local Target recommended this facility, and I’m so glad they did. This is one of the best urgent care centers I’ve ever visited. Registration was seamless, the wait time was short, and the staff and doctor were extremely pleasant, informative, and attentive to my preferred course of care. I left American Family Care feeling much better than when I arrived. I would highly recommend this location to anyone needing quality care on short notice.

We had a great experience. My daughter has an EXTREME fear of having her ears checked, and with the last 2 weeks had a terrible experience with her ears so was very on edge. The physician was so kind and patient with her and he is the first doctor that has been able to look in her ears without us holding her down. We were in and out quickly, as well!
