Candice Marbach is second to none. I always look forward to seeing her at this location. She is attentive, thorough, and genuinely takes the time to address all my concerns. She’s also a super nice person. If I could have Candice as my PA forever, I absolutely would. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Misra was the complete opposite. He disregarded concerns I brought forward and spent all of three minutes with me. Seemed completed uninterested, and he didn’t seem to listen, offered very generic advice I could have found on Google, and his bedside manner was poor. Probably one of the worst doctors I’ve ever visited.

I went in to get my son checked because he was having severe nausea and diarrhea and we ended up seeing Doctor Amaresh Misra. The entire time he kept dismissing what I said and kept talking to my husband over my words. And he would proceed to open drawers next to my chair without asking me to move and open them into me until I got up. He also kept insisting he needed my phone and snatched it and instead of handing it back to me he handed it to my husband. I don't know if he has some sort of issue with women but he definitely treated me as if I was below him the entire time and would make snarky comments on my parenting insinuating I got my son sick due to negligence. I felt so welcome and comfortable at American Family Care in Mt. Juliet on a Saturday afterno…from the check-in desk, to the nurse, to the PA. All were so kind/fun, but also knowledgeable and professional. Very satisfied with results.. I wouldn’t hesitate to go here again!

The worst experience with a Dr.’s office I have ever had. I think the Dr.’s name is Dr. Misra? This is not a good Dr option for women. He does not listen to your concerns and is very dismissive. No follow up questions or history questions when I brought up a concern just a very quick “it’s normal!” He proceeded to address my husband about why he felt it was normal (literally looking at my husband and ignoring the fact I WAS RIGHT THERE). Labs were only requested for my husband and I had to request that labs be put in for me too since I have medical conditions that run in my family. We were told we would get a call with results in 2 days. My husband got a call the very next day which is why by day 3 I followed up and was told I just needed to wait. Whoever I spoke with was really rude.

The front desk staff provided a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring that I was promptly checked in and all necessary paperwork was prepared. I did not experience significant waiting time for intake or my consultation with the doctor. The doctor was meticulous in their examination and took ample time to address my concerns, demonstrating a professional demeanor.
