Ambulatory Care Unit at North Shore University Hospital

This hospital surgery center is the MOST unprofessional I have ever seen! I brought my mom for surgery here the other day, and not only was I not allowed back with her in pre op. I was to come get her around 630 PM!! They asked me “when I can get there” so I said it takes me 20 minutes. The lady on the phone who DID NOT even tell me her name says” oh no she won’t be ready for about an hour” she the. Asks if I’m going to come to wait inside for my mother? I said I was just coming to pick her up since you need an hour. Her response was “okay you’ll need to call this number when you get here” she proceeds to give me the wrong number.
