Altru Hospital | Devils Lake

This ER is horrible. I came in with my daughter who is super sick. I sat for 4 hours. And they told me they would check on us never once did a nurse come check on us let alone ask if my daughter was able to use the restroom. Mind you 10 people have come and gone and been transferred out. The lobby was full. This isn’t the first time something like this happened. And they wonder why people don’t go to this ER here people rather Drove to Altru in Grand Forks than chance there life here. Do Better. And no I will not call patient relations. I will just being filing a complaint with the state! My child having to lay on the chairs cus she is sick!!!!!!

My experience were above and beyond professional! My comfort and understanding and needs came 1st and my surgery was more than successful. I am confident of a brighter future in my eyesight. So greatfull.

My whole experience with St Alexius was wonderful! The staff was very nice and made me feel comfortable for my procedure. I hope I made them feel appreciated. .

I went into the ER for a bee sting and the new ER was super nice. Nurse was good but the doctor sucked he had absolutely no bedside manner at all. Made me feel like I was wrong for coming in, wouldn’t let me finish what I was saying, I literally had to talk over him so I could get out what I had to say. I don’t recommend going there if that is how the staff is which is a total shame.

I was seen promptly and the nurse and physician were efficient, friendly, and professional. I was very pleased.
