Altercare Newark North

I did rehab at this facility & I was 100% impressed. I received physical fitness & occupational therapy separately daily sometimes twice & they really worked me. The aids were fantastic. Remember, they are the daily contact people there. Their attitude makes the stay good, great, or terrible. They were mostly pleasant with no complaints. Even the nurses tried to stay compliant with the distribution. Again, I can’t say enough about the excellence of this place & I have had some terrible experiences of late. I can’t say enough good things about Altercare Newark North. The staff made us feel welcome, supported, and truly cared for. Every team member we encountered from the nurses and aides to the therapists and administrative staff was kind, attentive, and professional. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which brought us peace of mind knowing our loved one was in a safe environment. The level of care and compassion provided was outstanding. I can’t speak highly enough about the experience our family has had with aftercare from the moment we walked in, we were met with a warm, welcoming environment that immediately put us at ease. The facility is clean, peaceful, and feels like home. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. Every nurse, aide, and team member we’ve interacted with has shown genuine compassion, patience, and respect for the residents. They take the time to get to know each person and go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels cared for and valued. You can tell they love what they do, and that makes all the difference. I attended the carnival that was held on July 26th. You could really tell how much effort was put into the event. The staff are so kind. Everyone was smiling and the environment itself is just very welcoming. I’m so happy I was able to be there and see the amazing bond between the staff and the residents. I’m excited to see what other projects they’re working towards.
