Alta Vista Regional Hospital

Go here if you want your children to die! My son was diagnosed with breathing issues, and an xray was requested of Alta Vista from El Centro. Still have yet to know what the xray results were!! Simply because El Centro and Alta Vista don't know how to talk to each other or upload results into the portal. I finally went to Santa Fe to get answers. What about folk who can't afford to go to urgent care in Santa Fe? He needed steroids for how bad his untreated bronchitis had become 5 days after El Centro had seen him with no diagnosis and no interpretation of Xray results. Shame on you for the lack of follow through and care! I called so many different people and got the run around for days! Absolutely saddened that this is what our community gets for Healthcare!

Wish I could give lower...unfortunately this is the only hospital near home..I am fully disabled from severe medical condition. I was here this past weekend I needed to be transferred out to Albq due to heart issues waiting hours on end with only one dose of pain medication. I also asked again and the nurse rudely says you can have a dose when we send out...but rude....ugh...this is so exhausting.. On the bright side the night doctor Dr. Henderson took excellent care of me. Hope the helicopter gets here soon I'm being admitted to ICU in Albuquerque..

Took my husband into the ER was treated very well. The department was very busy too. The doctor and nurses were very caring. So thankful to have the hospital in our Town

If my Drs & nurses would get the orders correctly, I would have had my ultrasound in a couple of days… it’s been 6 days and still having to get the orders (x2) correct…. The female ultrasound technician from San Antonio if phenomenal…. She went all out to get me completed ✔️ 👍🏽❤️

This evening I had to take my relative to be seen at the ER, I have to give credit where credit is due! All the medical staff and doctors were Courteous, caring, humble, kind, and thoughtful towards everyone that was at the er! From the way that they cared and tended to the patient, to family concerns they addressed. It was definitely showing great customer care for sure!! Thank you all for what you do to help others get well and feel better!
