Alpine Chiropractic and Massage

I hurt my back in the military and have seen chiropractors on/off ever since. After moving to the area I needed to find another. A person at the county VA said they used Alpine, so I made an appointment. The receptionist was/is super nice and very helpful. The office staff as well, have had no billing/insurance issues whatsoever. Dr. Shcill obviously knows his profession and is a skilled practitioner. Unlike some who just use the “drop table” and go round robin hoping it works. I will continue to be a patient for sure. Today I read the reviews and saw that majority were in alignment with my experience. Then there were the personal/hateful ones. My experience at this office has been very disappointing. The atmosphere feels tense and unprofessional, and it’s uncomfortable to be there. On more than one occasion the owners were bickering or talking about patients unprofessionally. You’re lucky if you get more than a minute with the chiropractor, yet on days I only received a massage I was still charged for an adjustment. On more than one occasion I was also billed for two copays. I also experienced repeated cancellations of my massage appointments, which were then rebooked a month or more out which is extremely inconvenient. Phone communication has been rude and dismissive, which only adds to the frustration. The only positive part of this clinic is Holly and Keddah — they are kind, friendly, and always greet patients with a smile.

Yikes. Anyone that "categorically rejects" claims of violating consent, and abuse in general, whether the office manager agrees or not, is a glaring red flag and that should tell you everything you need to know about Alpine Chiropractic and it's management. Kai is a stand-up community member and would not lie. Do not waste your time or sanity dealing with this business.

It won't let me give 0 stars. This office doesn't respect requests for basic trauma informed care, even after attempts to correct this with the office manager. Dr. Thomas Schill doesn't respect the word "no" when it comes to chiropractic treatment, you have to wonder where else that quality extends. You deserve better than this place.

Dr Schill and the caregivers I saw are really great however on every occasion I interacted with her both in person and on the phone, their office manager Lesley has been rude, dismissive, haughty, manipulative, unaccountable, and should not be in a position that involves dealing with the public. On several occasions she blatantly gaslit me and made it clear that she was a generally uncooperative and divisive individual, far more interested in fomenting conflict than fostering care and understanding.
